Young Onset Dementia
Living with young onset dementia can be challenging but having the right supports in place makes it easier to stay active, independent, and connected to the things and people you love.
Young Onset Dementia
Personalised support for people living with young onset dementia
Young onset dementia affects people under 65, and it can feel really overwhelming, not just for the person diagnosed, but also for family and friends. It’s a bit different from dementia in older adults because it happens at a time in life when you might still be working, raising kids, or juggling lots of responsibilities. It can touch every part of daily life: your health, relationships, routines, and even future plans.
If you have a NDIS plan, we can work alongside you to put the right supports in place. That might mean a bit of help around the house, getting to appointments, staying connected with work or social activities, or just making sure the day-to-day feels a little easier. We can also link you with allied health services, provide support around wellbeing, and encourage activities that help maintain independence and purpose. Most importantly, it’s more than just providing care it’s about making sure life stays meaningful, connected, and supported for both the person living with dementia and the people who love them.
Some of the supports we can offer to help you live well with dementia include:
