Thanks to Carepro, I Have A Place of My Own and People I Can Count On

My name is Sebastian, before connecting with Carepro Disability Services I was living in shared disability accommodation.  Sharing with others just wasn’t working for me—I wanted my own space and more independence, but I didn’t know how to make it happen.  With Carepro’s help I was able to find a place of my own. Now I’m living in my own home with the support I need, and that’s something I’m really proud of.

I’ve got an awesome team of support workers who help me with whatever I need.  They really understand me, and I know I can count on them. One of the best parts about having my own space is I get to practice my music without worrying about bothering housemates, and it gives me the freedom to make my own choices. I still get support, but I also get to live life on my terms. That kind of independence means a lot.  Carepro has helped me find that balance between getting support and staying independent. It makes a big difference knowing the people around me genuinely care.
