My name’s Vesna, and my husband Craig has early onset dementia. For a long time, I was his main carer, and while it hasn’t always been easy, we had our routine, and I did everything I could to support him at home for as long as possible.

Last year I had an accident and injured myself, and everything changed. I suddenly couldn’t do all the things I used to for Craig. It was really overwhelming—not just physically, but emotionally too and I was worried about how we were going to manage.
